Kathi Harris was born and grew up in Kingston, Jamaica. Attending university in the United States, she graduated with a Ph.D. in Higher Education. Kathi is an environmental advocate, believing that humans should be responsible stewards of the planet Earth, and for those that dwell therein. She wants us to protect our world so that we don’t lose the only home we have.

 

Kathi Harris is an educator, speechwriter, playwright, poet, counselor, life coach, content creator, and author. Her debut novel, Medusa the Beginning is science fiction, and the first book in the series, The Lark Song Chronicles. The second book in the series is titled Bloodlines Awakening. It is a paranormal, young adult fiction, written under the penname KD Harris, and is the prequel to Medusa. Kathi has written the Bloodlines micro-series for the internet and is currently finishing up book 2 of Bloodlines, and books 2 and 3 of Medusa. This body of work will bring to a close the written series, The Lark Song Chronicles. The first and second books in the series will now shift to the movie format, as Kathi is now collaborating with teams of writers, producers, and a director, to bring these two books to life on the big screen. This is a thrilling time for this author as the new phase from the written word to the world of films takes place.
